Silky, Soft Skin Beauty Tips
Most of the time beauty tips for skincare are all the same. Keep reading if you want some tips that are different. Sometimes you need to focus on how your skin feels not just how it looks. Soft, smooth skin is really inviting.
Smooth, silky skin is definitely an appearance booster whether its just for you and for someone else to touch. Don’t ever worry about having rough and bumpy skin again.
And you don’t have to worry. It can be very inexpensive. Most of these treatments can be done at home. Its really fun when you can do your own professional work in the comfort of your home.
* Beauty Tip #1: Try to use natural prevention - Natural products, such as rosewater, are some of the earliest know beauty products. They have literally both been around since before recorded history. Its because they really do work. Put a very thick layer of night cream on your face before you brush and floss your teeth. Then get some rosewater and rinse it off. Just use these natural treatments to help keep you skin smooth and wrinkle free.
* Beauty Tip #2: Use heat - Breakouts can be averted by using heat treatments. Use heat treatments to prevent breakouts by clearing your pores. This is why you get a steamy cloth on your face during a facial. Most of the time heat technology can be used to relieve existing inflammation literally overnight. Once you get rid of all those bumps with heat treatments, your skin will be dramatically smoother.
* Beauty Tip #3: Cool and mellow are the key - Use the chilled natural produce. We all know that you get cucumbers on your eyes at the spa, but did you ever think of doing it at home? To lighten dark spots and bags, you can use cucumber slices or chilled, cut potatoes wrapped in cheese cloth. Make a blend of aloe, mashed cucumber and vitamin E to really brighten up the area.
As usual, don’t get it in your eyes! You are not going to enjoy these beauty tips it you have cosmetics fogging up your vision.

Keep your brain young
Your brain is an organ and just like the heart and lungs, it requires oxygen and exercise in order to operate at an optimum level. You may be too young to yield to middle-aged worries about ‘ use it or lose it’ or even to start fretting about Alzheimer’s and other degenerative diseases – however, it’s still important that you focus on keeping your brain in shape.
By regularly engaging in the right types of activities, you can increase your memory, improve your problem-solving skills and boost your creativity. Here are some tips on how to keep your mind active:
Quit smoking
If you are a smoker, quitting is top of the ‘to-do’ list for better mental acuity. This is because smokers can add memory loss to the long list of health problems that come from smoking. Smokers may have twice the risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease as do people who have never smoked. Therefore, if the state of your mind is so important to you – stop smoking now — it is never too late. If you quit smoking now, you can still reduce your risk of memory loss later in life
Learn a language
Say ‘Ciao!’ to a new language. Learning a new tongue keeps your brain flexible and your mind sharp, helping to reduce the slowing of the thought processes that come with ageing. Attend lessons, listen to tapes from your library (a place you should be spending a lot of time in by the way!) or seek out friends with whom you can converse in your new chosen language. Instead of watching the same television programs you always do, take in a foreign language movie with subtitles and immerse yourself in your new experience.
Play games
Thanks to an ageing baby-boom generation, there are now plenty of mentally stimulating games. As their name implies, brainteasers and other such puzzles are good exercises for the brain. At sites like at sites like Free Printable Sudoku you’ll find the best soduku. Always have a crossword book in your briefcase or purse and work on it while you commute, while you wait for an appointment or when you relax on your coffee break. You will improve your cognitive skills and creative thinking as well as your word power and vocabulary. Try also games that force you to strategize like chess, bridge and solitaire.
Learn a new skill
A long-term goal like learning to play a musical instrument stimulates your brain on many levels over an extended period. A skill like learning to tango or foxtrot is great for the brain because it combines music and movement. Make everyday activities harder You can stimulate your brain just by mixing up your daily routine. If you are right handed, brush your teeth with your left hand, shower with your eyes closed — anything that will force you to use more of your senses.
Read
Whether it is a website, a novel or a newspaper, keeping your mind engaged in intellectual activity and expanding your vocabulary are two important ways to keep your brain thinking and working. As an added exercise, repeat facts you want to remember a few times aloud – then later, try to recall them again later.
Socialize
Your brain is the ultimate party animal and loves social activity. Seek out clubs or other social activities that will surround you with people and have you interacting. New scenery, new topics of conversation and other multi-sensory activities force the brain to literally form new connections, thus increasing memory capacity.

4 Ways to Make Sure that Your Facial Hair Removal Smoothly
Facial hair is an issue to some degree for everyone. It is a bigger deal for some than others though. No matter who you are, however, you have to admit you have at least one errant hair. It is just one of the facts of life.
But if you’re like me, then plucking drives you crazy. Sometimes I cannot see the mirror for the tears in my eyes! However, facial hair creams scare me. All I got in high school from using them was a red blister on my upper lip. Honestly I probably would have rather had the girlstache…
Luckily hair removal treatments have progressed since high school. They used to be awfully smelly and packed with harsh chemicals. Now using one is like aromatherapy. Of course, you will need to watch for the pitfalls.
Get the best results from facial hair removers by following these steps:
1. Make sure that you do a test first. Put the cream on your wrist before smearing it on your face. If you notice burning or develop a rash then call a halt to the process. Using just a small dab of the cream should do the trick.
2. Definitely look for herbal components. You are going to have to use some chemicals to melt hair away. However, herbal extracts will help your skin recover from this attack. Facial hair removal will go more smoothly if the product has a heavy moisturizer and natural ingredients.
3. Pick something with a fragrance. You probably cannot forget the smell of that stinky stuff that was used to remove leg hair. That smell was a result of serious chemicals. Now you have the option of eliminating the odor with a new fragrance. This can save you a severe allergic reaction – and a strange sneeze splatter! Opt for the scent unless you cannot handle any type of artificial fragrance.
4. Work in sections. Once you use the cream on your face, go slowly. Always start out with the eyebrow area. It is definitely less sensitive than the upper lip area. If your brows go without a hitch, then you can move on to the lip or chin areas.
The Best anti wrinkle Cream Must Be Natural and Effective
Antiwrinkle skin creams are in high demand these days. Folk needing to look young, try to turn back the clock and want to put the old aging battle to rest. Nobody wants to get old, however life dictates that it’ll occur regardless of what you or I want. The fact that you are aging tells us that you have gone thru life and gained lots of experience. Aging is not what most of us are afraid of, its how we look as we grow older that we would love to control.
Choosing a good anti wrinkle skin cream could be a giant task, particularly if you don’t know what to search for. You need to educate yourself on the ingredients contained in any cream you will be buying, because a cream is only as good as the ingredients it contain.
Stay away from products that contain damaging chemicals. These can injure your skin making it more wrinkled and so much harder to worry for. Many companies advertising their anti-wrinkle cream as being the best as it contain collagen. Don’t be fooled. Collagen in a cream is kind of ineffective as its molecules are too large to be soaked up by the skin. You need to be using natural collagen rather than the synthetic type used in most skin creams.
Here is something you want to know. There are natural products n the market today that contain ingredients that may stimulate your body to produce collagen and elastin just like you probably did when you were younger. It is possible and if you know which ingredients to look for your task is over.
Any anti-wrinkle skin cream that focus on renewing the skin should contain natural moisturizers because with aging your skin dries, blotchy and unevenly toned and need to e correctly moisturized to maintain firmness and pliability and giving it structure.
Look for any product to repair your wrinkled to contain antioxidants and collagen stimulants this is the most certain way to recover young looking skin. Finding these ingredients has just become simpler since during my research I discovered the precise ingredients to use on my skin to bring it back to life once again.
These are some ingredients to search for in the best, most natural, safe and efficient anti wrinkle cream : Cynergy TK, Phytessence Wakame, Nano Lipobelle HEQ10, Natural Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Oil and Avocado Oil. These will all naturally correct your skin leaving it soft smooth and wrinkle-free. So why ask if natural facelift easy to use and effective?
To ensure you purchase an effective anti-wrinkle cream, visit my website to study the best active ingredients to dump those wrinkles.

How to Read the Ingredients List for Natural Shampoo
There are a lot of reasons why you might select a natural shampoo. People like to use shampoos that they feel are “green.” Others feel that their hair remains healthier when the wash it with natural ingredients. Natural shampoo products are often easier on dyed hair. You might also like natural shampoos because they may be used as soothing body washes also.
However, the word natural can be deceiving. Sometimes it can just mean natural ingredients. When you see the words natural ingredients they refer to just about anything derived from nature. As a result the shampoo can contain a few natural ingredients and a lot of unnatural ones. Generally a few preservatives and a little dye can be okay. If you have sensitive skin though, then you may have trouble with colors and fragrances. The really big problem ingredients tend to undo the positive benefits of natural ingredients.
Always watch out for lauryl- and laureth sulfates. This is what makes shampoo foam. However, in addition it strips hair. The result over a short time is weak, brittle hair. Also, it undermines color treatments. Lightened and dulled hair is the result of excessive lauryl sulfate use. Always avoid anything with the words laureth or lauryl sulfate.
Also, keep an eye out for sufur and sulfides. These are quite common in dandruff shampoos. Technically, you could argue that sulfur is actually a natural ingredient. But in some cases it can make skin conditions worse and cause dandruff. Sulfur based shampoos must be kept out of your eyes. Your hair may also be drier than usual.
Truly natural shampoos have a few common characteristics:
* They do not tend to have many ingredients - The majority of ingredients in shampoos are artificial. Most natural shampoos will just have a base of soap and a few other ingredients.
* You do not get much foam with natural shampoos - This is because most foaming agents are not natural.
* They often have ingredients you would expect to see in your kitchen - You could see items like baking soda and herbs. Some people actually just use baking soda and vinegar to wash their hair.
If you already have perfect hair, then you should stick with what you are doing! But if you are looking for a new natural shampoo then be sure you are getting the real deal. The secret ingredients can cause some serious damage to your hair. Always be sure that your natural shampoo is the real deal before you start washing your hair.
A Balanced Lifestyle Is The Key to Good Health and Longevity
Last week I found an article on sciencedaily.com regarding a study carried out on aged mice bred to develop symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and the boost that caffeine gave to reversing memory loss. The article started with the tease that “Coffee drinkers may have another reason to pour that extra cup.” It continued by discussing back-to-back studies published online July 6 in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease that proved that caffeine notably decreased abnormal levels of the protein linked to Alzheimer’s disease, both in the brains and in the blood of mice exhibiting symptoms of the disease.
However, before you decide to add an extra cup of coffee to your morning ritual, let me, Dr. Jamie Phillips elaborate by saying that under “Related Stories” on the website were at least two articles reporting on studies that professed to prove the negative effects of caffeine, “Morning Jolt of Caffeine May Mask Serious Sleep Problems,” and “Coffee Consumption Linked To Increased Risk Of Heart Attack For Persons With Certain Gene Variation.”
It seems to me that there are probably studies that will corroborate, or at least bolster, nearly any view point, especially when it has to do with age-related health issues. The “yin-yang” of caffeine benefits-deficits certainly aren’t, of course, the only ones. But, it did get me to thinking about the probability that there will not ever be simply “one thing” that will incontrovertibly assist we, humans, in living longer, healthier lives. Humans are dynamic, biological creatures. We are free to engage in life. We’re not confined to a cage! And, let’s face it, though Alzheimer’s disease is likely on the rise, obviously we, cage-free humans, have not been “bred to develop symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease,” therefore caffeine isn’t going to be the “one thing” that is going to reverse or prevent it.
The human body is an exquisite, intricate system that is based on homeostasis, that is to say, balance. It makes sense, then, that good health is about a healthy, balanced way of living, rather than our jumping on the bandwagon of the latest health study and “doing” or “overdoing” one specific thing in the hope that it will reverse all of the other immoderate and unhealthy things we do to our bodies.
I believe, as a doctor of chiropractic in Santa Barbara, that every single day we have an opportunity to make healthy choices for our body, decisions that will help us to live longer, healthier lives. We know what truly “feels” right and what doesn’t when it comes to what is good for us. So, I just wanted to offer some thoughts for you to keep in mind the next time you reach for that extra cup of coffee or second glass of red wine. Neither one of those things is the “one thing” that will do “everything” for your good health.
Knowing if Bare Mineral Makeup is Right for You
Several years ago, Bare Mineral Makeup sparked the mineral makeup revolution. Since that time, hundreds of makeup manufacturers have tried to cash in on the popularity of Bare Mineral. Because of this, the philosophy behind these cosmetics has become confusing to many.
Often people believe that mineral makeups are all the same. The words “mineral makeup” can be used in a variety of ways. Many highly discrepant versions are legally acceptable when describing cosmetics. Bare Mineral Makeup sticks to the strictest definitions possible when it comes to mineral makeup. This makes the company truly valuable to people who care about their complexions and their beauty budget.
Here are a few of the things that Bare Mineral Makeup believes set it apart from other mineral makeup manufacturers:
* Bare Mineral is entirely hypoallergenic - Not only are there no fragrances or oils, there is no talc. Talc is a very common allergen. This lack is particularly noteworthy because many makeup lines claim to be mineral makeup based solely on talc content.
* Bare Mineral components are good for the complexion - With continued use, this makeup may help alleviate adult acne and rosacea. This might be simply because the hypoallergenic brand does not irritate already-sensitive skin like most foundations and cosmetics will. Bare Mineral Makeup wearers do claim consistently clearer and healthier skin with use over time.
* Bare Mineral products boast a natural SPF of 15 - The makeup line has received the Skin Cancer Foundation’s seal of recommendation. SPF 15 is the level of sun protection recommended for daily wear. Bare Mineral products mean that you do not have to wear greasy sunscreen under your makeup. Bare Mineral makes it easier to protect yourself from skin cancer. Also, the number of women likely to do so jumps each time the process gets easier.
Bare Mineral Makeup is also known as Bare Escentuals makeup. These brands can be located in BE Boutiques across the country. However, the cosmetics can also be purchased online, often at steep discounts from exclusive department store prices. If you value your skin and want your makeup to actually make your unmade-up look better than ever, then Bare Mineral Makeup is the brand for you.

Best Mineral Makeup Tips
Smart cosmetics aficionados know that the best mineral makeup is not like other mineral makeup lines. There are many reasons that you might buy mineral makeup, including:
* Mineral makeup can ease symptoms of adult acne and rosacea
* Mineral makeups’ natural SPF is 15
* Mineral makeup looks more natural than other types of cosmetics
* Mineral makeup can be worn in diverse ways
* Mineral makeup does not wear off
* You can sleep in some types of mineral makeup with no ill effects
However, just buying a product with the label “mineral makeup” is not enough.
To get the best benefits, you need to get the best mineral makeup possible. Do not worry because this does not mean that these cosmetics are the most expensive. It does mean that they have unique qualities that other mineral makeup products do not.
Here are several things to look for to spot the best mineral makeup on the market:
* Keep an eye out for artificial colors and fragrances - The best mineral makeup will not contain any artificial colors or fragrances. This does not mean that you cannot enjoy bright colors in mineral makeup. It just means that you should not see ingredients like “yellow dye # 5” in the ingredients list.
* Avoid talc - There are lots of cosmetics labeled mineral makeup simply because they are largely talc. Talc is actually a mineral. However, talc is also frequently used as a filler to bulk up makeup and is a common allergen. The best mineral makeup companies do not use talc excessively.
* Always watch for Mica, Zinc and Titanium - Mica reflects light away from the wrinkles in your face, thereby camouflaging them. You can get a natural SPF barrier of at least level 15 thanks to zinc and titanium. These are all “earth minerals” and have not been chemically processed.
The best mineral makeup lines often use little more than these essential ingredients.
* Keep an eye out for short ingredients lists - The best mineral makeup lines are simple. You should look for lists of ingredients that reflect this. Some mineral cosmetic lines may have as few as five ingredients.
If you want a wider array of colors, then you may need a few more components. Of course, the rule in general is that simpler is better.
Keeping an eye on the details will help you get the best in mineral makeup.

Secrets to Facial Skin Care Success
Good facial skin care should be a factor for everyone. All of us want that beautiful, youthful glow for our skin. No matter how much we pretend that we love our laugh lines, what we really love is the memories that made them, and in reality we would trade the laugh lines in for smooth, firm skin in about half a second given the opportunity. In short, there is nothing wrong with taking good care of your face and your skin so that you can continue to enjoy them as long as possible.
However, in our hurry to purchase the latest facial skin care fad, we often neglect the simple things that we can do to keep our skin looking firm, young and healthy far more effective than the latest celebrity beauty trend.
* Take your vitamins. Age decreases your skin’s ability to fight free radicals and retain moisture. Taking a daily vitamin can seriously rejuvenate your skin.
* Grab a handful of nuts. Walnuts can fool your skin into acting like it is younger than it really is. Walnuts become particularly important to your skin care regimen after you turn 25, when your skin stops producing antioxidants on its own.
* Don’t be afraid to moisturize. When you were young you might have limited lotions because the oil made you break out. A lightly scented moisturizer will provide your skin – and you – with a refreshing boost throughout the day. Monitor results so that you can switch lotions if you experience breakouts.
These simple tips are not only great preventative measures, but they are restorative as well. Starting today you will know that you are creating more resilient, youthful and healthy skin with these facial skin care tips.

The Power Of Prevention – Knowing What Causes Age Spots
Although we call them age spots, that’s probably not a very good name for the dark skin pigmentations that occur as we grow older. So, exactly what causes age spots?
These dark skin pigmentations have very little to do with growing older. If you want the real cause of the problem, turn your eyes upward and look at the sun. Unfortunately all those days of unprotected basking in the sun is having this effect on your skin.
Start taking precautions while you’re still young
While age spots are without a doubt common in older people, they can frequently be found in people as early as their late twenties and thirties in cases where the person has seen significant sun exposure and have sensitive skin.
These spots are mostly found on parts of the body that are in the sun most of the time, like the hands, face and arms.
Once again it’s our old friend ultraviolet (UV) rays that’s the root of the problem. As your skin gets more and more sun exposure, more than the normal dose if pigment is deposited in the skin. As the years go by, these damaged areas turn darker and become what we now refer to as age spots.
At least there’s some good news – these spots are mostly harmless, but having your doctor take a look at them is never a bad idea. Skin cancer can start out looking like harmless dark blemishes.
Treatment
You can treat these dark blemishes in multiple ways. You can in fact do something about these spots if you don’t want them around.
Since the sun is the biggest problem, obviously the first thing you should do is protect yourself from it either with clothing, a safe natural sunscreen or by simply avoiding extended exposure if possible.
If you don’t have them yet, good. Continue using a safe and natural sunscreen. A sunscreen of SPF 15 is recommended by dermatologists to filter out most of the damaging UV rays.
Age spots can be bleached by topical treatments, and there are also harsher dermatological treatments available, which is not recommended for everyone and should only be considered after proper consultation with a dermatologist.
Even after these procedures, you’ll still need to take the necessary precautions and in many cases still use a topical treatment for best results. If you have blemishes that you’d like to get rid of, your first step from here is to find a safe, natural cream that you can apply daily to start fading those dark spots.
It’s not difficult to find a safe herbal age spot remover if you know where to look.
